The students of Class XI (Home Science) had the wonderful opportunity to visit the International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM), Salt Lake, for an enriching and hands-on learning experience.
During the visit, the students participated in an interactive bakery workshop where they learned the techniques involved in preparing five different varieties of mousses under the guidance of hospitality professionals. They also attended an engaging session on social dining etiquette, gaining valuable knowledge about table manners, the correct use of cutlery and the art of napkin folding.
The programme further introduced students to the fundamentals of the hospitality industry, including customer service, professional conduct and career opportunities in hotel management.
