Welcome To St. Paul's Boarding & Day School
The legacy of St. Paul's Boarding and Day School is deeply rooted in a long tradition of service, compassion and education that spans more than a century. The journey began as early as 1873, when the Congregation of the Daughters of the Cross established St. Paul's Orphanage and School in Calcutta for Eurasian and Anglo-Indian orphan boys. The institution was founded with the noble intention of providing care, education and moral grounding to children who were vulnerable and in need of guidance, reflecting the Congregation's deep commitment to social upliftment through education.
The school was formally inaugurated in 1912 by Lady Carmichael, the wife of the then Governor of Bengal. This marked a significant milestone in the institution's history and laid the foundation for what would grow into a respected educational establishment in Kolkata.
